I know we already started a thread for this back in October/November, but with the recent warms spells, I thought it would be wise to start a new one. I have been a little apprehensive to get back out yet. Even though the temps have dipped a little, I am sure some places have substantial overflow issues, and even though the thickness is probably still in the safe zone, I know the warm weather makes the ice softer and less stable. So let's all help each other out and if anyone gets out, post a thickness report so we can all be safe. If I just fished alone, I probably wouldn't have a second thought about most of the places I fish, but since I have little ones and they regularly join me, I think it wouldn't hurt to be extra safe. Thanks a lot everyone. Hope you all have a good ice fishing season.
