Default Nice wolverine picked up yesterday on the line!

Had a wolverine running my line for the last month, and yesterday he finally made a mistake and got into the trap! Decent size, beautiful neck patch. So nice that I have to put him on the wall at the lodge! Almost ran out of time to catch this guy! 25 pounds.

Very nice! I don't know how you survive all that snow, heck only 2 inches has shut down Atlanta Ga!
When asked what state I live in I say "The State of Confusion", better known as IL....

Good work, Claude. I'm still trying to catch my first wolverine.

Wuss. Snow isn't scary. Dumbazz drivers are scary. It's no diff here. Everytime it snows, many many drivers here panic, and cause mayhem on our roads. Even people who have lived here for years and years. It should be a requirement to take a winter driving course in wintry weather, real or simulated, to obtain a driving license. That's my .2 cents.

    Nice work Claude!
Not sure if you have already skinned your wolverine but I am taking the registered guide exam this March in Fairbanks and need footage prior to the exam of me skinning a wolf or wolverine. I am always too busy during hunting season to pull out a video camera and record it. So, if you have not already skinned it could I do it for you of if you catch any more wolf or woverine and wouln't mind me skinning and fleshing it for you please let me know??
    Thanks!

Ha ha on the snow! Yeah, it's not bad out here. I was out chasing ptarmigan the other day, and holy smokes, it's the best snow I've seen for going anywhere. If your into predator or bird hunting, now is the time!
Had a great run of the line yesterday also! 2 red fox, an otter, and a martin. Season started slow as always, but picking up now. Just hope I don't pick up any more wolverine, since the season closed.
Sorry Tia, wolverine is already skinned, and now the season is closed, but if I find a wolf, I'll let you know.
