    Default Cains head

Wife and I are heading to Seward to get away for a few days. Can anyone recommend a few good trails. I was thinking of a day on Cain's head trail. Is it safe this time of year?
    Thanks. G

With the temps we have been having it should be, as long as the switchbacks going down to tonsina are doable then the rest should be fine just watch those tides. the road up to exit is always nice this time of year too i usually head up the road a ways and then strike out on the river bed, depending on what the channels are like you can make it up pretty far in to the park

Several good trails north of Seward. You can get details form the information center as you enter Seward, but not sure they're open this time of year. Most the trails have access right from hwy 9. Meridian Lake is beautiful, it's about 10 miles north. Near Renfro's on Kenai Lake is the Victor Creek trail. Bear lake is also nice.
