Default Kodiak Island ducks season closed today

Had to go and use the UFO one more time till next season. Pair of Greater Scuap, redbreasted drake merganer, drake common goldeneye and a couple of drake longtails. Yesterday was a Barrows day with one drake harliquin.

    Pretty sweet.

    Nice pics!

I probably saw you out there on a few mornings. I was running out to the outside of the bay pretty regularly. Old pic, but close by, was that you?

My last couple at bats were out in the grass trying to pick up a few mallards. left the boat behind and hiked in.
Unfortunately my last day did not work out by my last hunt the night before was good. Scared a few ducks, and had this boy turn and come in perfectly during the last half hour of my season.

    Thanks,

I built that one, with some custom touches. Very similar to the way Brad's boats are set up tho.
