    I don't know about that, but he's a hilarious character in Pat McManus' books.

    After reading many of his posts I just figured he was the secret love child of John Wayne and Martha Stewart.

    That fellow is one crafty outdoorsman....

    Rancid is a crafty woodsman that avoids work at all costs. He will work harder avoiding work than the work itself would have been to do. He avoids bathing more than work as soap and water will eat holes in one’s protective crust. Ive read all the McManus books over the years. Great stories and I always related to Crabtree so I adopted the handle on a few forums.

    Hey Rancid - can you post up a "how to" on building a grasshopper trap? You've shown how to build quite a few other things
