    Default Long Lake version 2.0

Making another trip out to Long Lake (mi 86 Glenn) tomorrow evening. This time we're better prepared; correct bait, a working auger, and an underwater camera! Right now it's just two of us going, so if anyone wants to join you're more than welcome, we have a 6 man tent. Likely going later in the day hoping for some night-time burbot action.

How is ice out there? I fished it last year on the ice and in my boat, caught a bunch of suckers and some little stocker trout. I was thinking about trying again this year if the ice is still good.

I went a couple weeks ago and it was fine, drive out on it. I was at fire lake today in eagle river and the snow was melting but the ice was still solid. Want to go with us?

Nope, no water at all. We stayed fairly shallow though. There was quite a bit of snow on the lake, the easy side was really deep in snow, likely wouldn't have been able to drive to that part. There was a truck out on the far northern part of the lake too.

    Default Long Lake version 2.0

Hey anyone been out here to long lake (Glenn HWY) in the past few days? How's the over flow if any? Figured this warm weather is making a mess of everything. I was debating on going up this weekend and bringing the ATV. Thanks in advance.
