    See a post a while back about using atv or snow machine on memory lake in Wasilla, can you access the lake on snow machine

    Hold off everyone, I got this one.....
    Yes, you can access Memory Lk under certain conditions. First, you must drive fast across private property. Also, all mufflers should be removed. You should have at least 3 drunk buddies with you. And finally, after you create much mayhem across the lake as you can in 10 minutes you should quickly exit the lake from a point other than your entrance point. Good luck and have fun!

    There is a public access to the lake that has a gate across it now but between the gate and tree there might be maybe 3 ft and with some big roots sticking up. I see locals drive small atvs and snow machines up and over the roots tearing their machines up, but if you have an old junker that you don't mind missing some plastic go for it. As for the rest of the lake there is no access all private.

    I drive my wheeler over the roots and have never tore up anything

    I was at the lake today and it looked plenty wide to get most wheelers through. I had the snow machine with me but never unloaded it.
