I prepare all year long. Between Christmas, valentines day, Easter, and popping popcorn, it's an all year event. I got 24 boxes of candy canes after Christmas for $12, now I wait till the next holiday to pick up more. Once Easter is here, that's when I stock pile tons of sweets. I probably have over 200 boxes of peeps from Easter the last couple of years. Needless to say, I'm always ready for baiting season.

Units 12, 20C, 20E, 21D, 7, 13D, 15 and 16. More info to be had in the regs regarding meat salvage, etc. Hope that helps.

Jrcorwin, I'm at it all year long also, been at the same spot in 14A going on 8 years now. I have seen more and more Griz come in over the last few years but I still have the same amount of black bears. They black bear tolerate each other as far as I can tell that just ease their way in instead of coming in HOT. LOL I like trying different baits/scents each year. Also love the trail cameras. I've got quite a few bears both black and griz named and have watched them grow up.
