    Default Cleaning s.s. barrel

    How can I get alder sap of a stainless steel barrel? I've been using just oil and a cloth, trying to rub it off, it isn't working! Need some help, please!!! Thanks!!

    A simple solvent such as turpentine should do the job.

    acetone, or brake cleaner. Either will do the job.

    Those are my go-tos also, naphtha is another handy one to have around. I buy brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner, or starting fluid (whichever is cheapest) by the case.
