Talking Ethics of setting up an ambush for reindeer/caribou tonight (Dec 24)

Legend says they will be landing on my roof tonight. Don't see anything discouraging it in the regulations. What say you all?

The trick will be finding and angle where you have a safe backstop. Get's hard when they are silhouetted on the rooftop. You could hurry and prepare something ahead of time... Then again, they might not make it to your place if the stop at mine first

Bait is important. Pack leader will fall for milk and cookies. Just a thought

Single story ranch house, I'm thinking a 25 ft high tree stand, 30 yards from the house.

I am erecting a large plate of polycarbonate across the peak of my roof, in the dark, not even Rudolph will be able to see it. When coming in for the landing the whole team will hit that poly like a bug on a windshield, I only need to pick them up from my yard!

Santa's got them hitched up already. DanC hasn't done anything....yet!

I hear he's running a little late. Something about Alaskan mischief and needing another load of coal.
