Default Christmas Message from the APH

Waterfowlers, please read the entireity of this message and the attached newsletter. Some of these projects have not been met with cheers from the hunting community, others can and will help improve the hunting and access to the flats. Come out and join us, and voice your opinion about what is taking place on the flats. Don't just sit back at a distance and b**ch about it. The APH can become a powerful force in making improvements to habitat and hunting on the flats. Bud Bass, APH Board Member

Alaskans for Palmer Hay Flats year end message 1

    FROM Director

    Dear Friends,
To our Member's, Partners, Visitors and Friends, we wish the Merriest of Christmas's and the Happiest of Holiday's and New Year. Alaskans for Palmer Hay Flats State Game Refuge has had a busy year, full of challenges and transitions. We hope you and your family have had a successful and satisfying 2013. There is much to be thankful for and much to look forward to.

Please take some time to glance through our end of year Newsletter. With our fine Partners we have accomplished a lot this year. We've worked to implement improvements and enhancements to the Refuge parking areas, Cottonwood Creek crossing, Reflections Lake Pavilion dedication and ribbon-cutting and have a full slate of education activities, new partnerships and additional structural improvements to look forward to in 2014.

We cherish our working relationships with all of you and greatly appreciate your support, for which we could not survive without. Perhaps more than ever before, we need your continued financial and material support as well as your avid interest and ideas to protect and preserve the Refuge. All of our appreciation and enjoyment of the Refuge no matter what our personal respectful use for the Refuge may be, cannot be realized without the personal and public stewardship that goes hand-in-hand with the use of our public lands.

Please join us again in 2014 with your pledges and volunteerism to advocate for and help shape to maintain and improve the fantastic treasure that our Refuge represents.

Thank You for all you do.

    Best Wishes,

    Bill Wood

Start at the first post to read Pg 1. Was loaded backwards. Couldn't figure out how to get a word or PDF document loaded. Seems only JPEG would work. Might have to save it and blow it up if interested in reading it without using a coke bottle..
