    Yeah, I got it too. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but I had to giggle a little about one of the first sentences:

    "Kenai moose are cherished as a core wild food source and as icons of a region world famous for it's abundant, healthy populations of game."

    All I could think of at the time was, tell that to the sheep population......
    Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

    I have flown dozens and dozens of hours all over KP in a helo and there are no "abundant" animal populations anywhere.

    followed by everywhere else. just doesnt seem to be a lot of foresight as to what is going to happen in a decade or so. I wish states would take an overly precautios stance on management and harvests...not what can the specific game population today take as a loss without ruining it. we need to look toward the future of more hunters, better equipment, and probably higher harvests in free for all type areas. id be all for limiting my hunting opportunities by having things going to a draw before it gets to the point where there just isnt any quality hunting.

    I live in Moose Pass and I haven't had a moose pass in front of me in over a year.
