    Default Wintertime projects/hobbies ??

Hey folks! Even though there is still plenty to do outside in winter, what is on everyone's list of indoor projects, chores, hobbies, etc.? Just curious what will keep you all busy this winter. Boat mods, gun mods, kitchen remodel, fly tying......?

Backcountry skiing, predator hunting, sitting in our new wood-fired sauna, hiking, and playing with my wife and kids. I should really get into ice fishing a bit as well, as I know my little ones (3 and 5) would love it.

I've been restoring vintage 1920-30's banjo ukuleles. Authentic parts are hard to find and spendy. Getting close to completion on a couple of them. I'll have to contact kasilofchrisn for suggestions on optimal attach points for hooks and main line. Happy Holidays, all!

Predominantly working and fixing everything I broke over the summer. I also had a massive backlog from 5 years of deferred maintenance on the home while I was working overseas. I am mostly caught up on that front but have been filling winter time with functional upgrades. New closet shelves, garage door openers, ATV upgrades, organizing the shop. I have some reloading to do and the sleds have been calling!

I added a second story on the house a couple of years ago. So just about done with the sheet rock, a little sanding to do. Started painting the other areas. Trim is next!

Reading AOD and dreaming of summer....lol......building three four-poster shaker canopy beds for a client with a b&b, Christmas shopping, cooking, shoveling snow on 3,000 sq. ft of driveway (one of the most zen activities you can do, and great exercise)....need to tape the lid in the shop, and t&g pine the ceiling of studio apt. over same.....getting ready for a snowshoe vacation on the south side of the bay after Christmas....

Is this for real? I have no spare time for projects because sport fishing never stops in Alaska. Winter fishing season is no time for me to stop. How can anyone take a break with all the fish to chase?
