I've heard it called several things but I can't find one. Any help would be great. I'm Tired of getting wet or limping to shore.

They are a piece of flat metal about 1/8" thick 3' long and 1" wide. the bottom is bent at a 45 degree angle about 10" up. They are made to be slid down the clean out on an inboard to push the obstruction out the bottom.

    Here's a pic of a weed rake I made.

Works great for leaves & weeds, not so good for rocks. If rocks are you problem, you'll most likely need a stomp grate.

Thanks Alaskamokaiman. I just need one to hold me over till I can round up the $$$$ for the stomp grate. And hopefully one of your little boats too.

Depends on how heavy you load it.

I start out with 265 lbs in it and the best I can get is about 11 mph.

Of course the amount of wear on the wear ring can make you lose speed as well.

For a 6 horse I think that it does well, lots of people want more power and they and the company are workin on it, just has not happened yet.

With the price of gas 8 hours of run time on 3 gallons of gas is a good thing.

If you want to take one for a ride contact me.

    Cheers
