Some one "lost" one on the Seward highway today by Summit Lake, they had one lane of traffic blocked as a bunch of helpers tried to push the boat back up on the trailer!

My 1st question is, did they have the boat strapped at the rear? You should have the cable/strap on the winch, the safety chain and of course straps on the rear. For some odd reason people don't beleive it is necessary to strap the rear of their boats Ever watched one bounce acrossed the railroad tracks? I bet the new overpasses east of Wasilla will offer some good bounce

I saw a boat that looked a little odd on the side of the road the other day. Yes it was behind a truck, the tongue was on the ground and I bet the owner was glad he had safety chains on his trailer. For some reason there are those that don't understand the purpose of those chains or they don't see a need You better beleive someone put all that stuff on a trailer for a good reason.

    Default Lost?

How can someone "lose" a boat? Wouldn't you notice it missing pretty quick?

Here is the message from Craig's List. They remove it for some reason:

Found along Seward Highway near Indian.
Small Inflatable ship to shore that must have blown off a trailer.
Please contact me if you want it back, no charge!!

My raft almost blew off my boat thur night. Had to pull over and take it down. Wind was really blowing

Safety straps on the rear of the boat are a must. Never tow my boat without them. All it takes is one time.
