Anyone recommend a shop to rebuild a Ranger 800 motor? Not looking for a factory shop.

Can I ask why you need a rebuild? I have a 800XP also.

What part of the state are you in? Todd over at Alaska ATV salvage in Eagle River could tackle it I'm sure. He's been around for a long time.

I just had a 500 rebuilt by a friend. Worked out well for me. If not for that option I'd have called AK Drag Bike.

He swamped it, now it's eating oil. He is in Anchorage. AK that's the one I was thinking of. I've heard good things about him.
