    Default First Blacktail :)

Had a great time out at Montague with some great forum members and 2 strangers Lots of does and a few bucks spotted deer up high down low and in the middle. The weather was great sunny and calm all but 1 day. This deer had a ton of fat on it. Shot it at around 300 ft .Dragged and floated it back via lake, stream and tidal pool. Thanks to all the folks who sent me Pms with info and nice meeting you in person Brian hope you guys had luck. Oh and no snow out there yet except up real high

    Well done.

Those fatty PWS bucks are about the best eating critter I have ever tasted too. I have yet to get a bad one.

Congratulations again Roger, you earned him. We had a great time out there and will do it again! My boat went home empty handed this trip but am ready to go again.
That buck had a ton of fat on him an a nice thick hide too.
    How did you do fishing?
Coming home Sunday it was snowing on Knight and really coming down in the Culross area.
