    Default Ice fishing/caribou pics

Had a gorgeous day going for a drive and catching rainbows!

    Caught over 20 rainbows, 13-14"s

    Kept a few for breakfast.

Seen over 200 caribou through out the day. Figured the ice was safe if they were walking on it. Ice was only 3" thick!

They come out of no where sometimes..

Lucky... wish we had our lakes frozen here. How many inches was on the lake already? Kind of jealous looked like a kickass day to be out on the ice.

3" of ice. Most all the lakes all the way up were still open. A few smaller lakes in the area are skimmed over but barely. Should be alot safer this weekend. White haired jig with a Fire ball was the trick. Sweetish Pimples weren't as effective as I thought. The woman out fished me...again!

Very nice! I'm itching to get on the ice, and this weather isn't helping much. Great pics.

    There is no ice.
