    Default AR prices dropping?

Just came back from FredMeyer in South Anchorage. DPMS Sporticals in .308 $1029 and .223/5.56 $630 . I don't remember ARs that low before the "scare". Were they that low?

Yep. That sounds just about right.

Yup back to about normal on the wholesale side now, I‘m getting a lot of AR stuff in the ads now. Those prices are on the mark for before the election, I almost bought a Remington 308 (made by DPMS I hear) for $999 at Sports Authority just before the 2012 election.

Several of the on-line retailers have components for the same price as they were in 2012, their ads never changed, just says "in-stock" instead of "out of stock" now...

Yep AR prices are at rock bottom right now. Everyone ramped up production for the panic the panic stopped and there is a whole bunch of inventory ALOT of retailers are sitting on. Most things are cheaper now than pre 2012 unless you look in the swap and sell here of course.. People still seem to think their ARs are cast from pure gold

I hope all the people that bought everything up and created the massive backlog gets stuck with them or they take it in the shorts.

I hope your right but I imagine that we will see another round of knee jerk gun grab threats sooner rather than later.

Looks like a buyers market, again.

Thanks again to all those who bought high, and now have to sell low.

Well, I figure to buy another dozen at these prices.......seems like a safe investment. I am going to sell the last five 6.8 SPC AR-15's and a few cases of 6.8 SPC ammo & just inventory the faster twist .223/5.56 rifles for the 62 gr.

I would bet that most of the guys who said they would wait to buy, will NOT buy, as they will get seduced into they well always be available and available cheap.

Black Dog in Soldotna has a bunch of stripped lowers and quite a few complete lowers at prices that are still about 20% higher than before, but it was sure nice to see them on the shelf, I also found a pound of W760 today, that's two things I couldn't buy 3 months ago retail!

On a side note they had that double tube kelt-tec shotgun in stock, pretty interesting piece of equipment and the first one I've seen in person!
