    Default Shipping Powder

Anyone have a good suggestion on how to ship powder from the lower 48 to Alaska? I know that a haz-mat fee will be involved but it still might be worth it.

You call a fright forwarder (like Lynden etc.) and get thir address in Washington and current quantity rules, fees, and so on. Then call supplier (like Graff & Sons, Powder Valley, Midway, etc.) and have your order shipped to you in care of the fright forwarder at their Washington address. Last you get a call that your shipment is in and you go pay the shipping and bring it home.

The closer you get to the maximum amount the haz-mat fee covers the better so you want to order quite a bit and running a group buy is the way to get there.
