    Default silvers on the Fly

The Jet is running just perfect, only tore up one sleeve so far. Silvers slowed down biting spinners and eggs, but they loved the egg suckin leech!

Got any steelhead down there by you Kodiakcombo? I'd love to get down to Kodiak sometime to fish some steelhead.

    One little tidbit Jeff-

The core of most 8WT fly lines is only 20# test. If you hang up with 25# tippet, you'll be breaking your fly line rather than the leader. Heaviest I go to on 8WT is 16# tippet.

Lightest line I have is 25, never had a problem breaking sinking line. I never did fish for steelies or rainbows, would love to also. I hear the karluk has some.

12LB will handle them just fine. While fishing for rainbows this fall, I couldnt keep the silvers off of my streamers I was throwing. I was using 12LB and was able to handle them easily with a 7wt.
