Default any good fishing stories? mines about bob the bow

So still pretty new to the area I have found some nice fishing spots. one of which is 6 mile lake on fort rich. Tuesday morning I went out and started fishing it and caught some small fish and right before I was about to leave my rod bends in half almost with a nice fish. I work him for about 30 seconds and my tippit (5 lb) breaks and he gets away with my fly. so the next morning determined to catch him I went to a 9 lb tippit. 30 minutes in I get a bit and I work him for another 30 seconds and my tippit breaks again! fairly mad at this point I go out the next morning with no tippit and cut my leader back to about 7 feet. I threw a dolly on there and started swingin. after a couple smallies I get that slam I was looking for. I reeled on him for about 5 minutes and get him in the net and sure enough he was the bow that took my fly! I am glad to say I met bob, got my fly back and he is back in pond.

Way to stay with it. There are a few lunkers in that lake, glad to see there still are. C&R, I thank you and the fish thanks you, sir!

Nice 'bow! We need to get out again some time. I was working on my wife's car this weekend unfortunately, so no fishing for me!

Yes it seems to be a healthy little pond. Between dolly, bows and salmon. Keeps my breakfast and lunch breaks busy

Ive caught quite a few trout pushing 20" in both lower and upper 6 Mile. Definitely my go to lake during the lunch time. I caught one at the culvert that was completely black aside from the colors running along its side. He really didnt want a picture and flipped out of my hands for this one but I did get him back in safely. Hopefully Ill get to catch him again!Click image for larger version.

Loaded Question F.G. no other way to put it I suppose considering the colorization of the fish. :-)

A Spot I like on 6 Mile. Ive caught close to 10 trout at over 20 inches in that area and have only seen one other person fishing there.
