    Default Mat-Su lakes in fall

I enjoyed spring fly fishing in the Mat-Su lakes this year, and was just wondering when the fishing typically stops in the fall. My experience with other lakes is that when the bite stops, it can totally stop. Are the Mat-Su lakes still fishing well now?(October) Thanks!

I know Kepler lake and Bradley are good and still hitting. From what I hear you can fish them year round, even when they are froze over.

I am still catching nice fish. Where do live? I live out in the valley and hope to fish tommorow. What do you fish on? I have a Jon boat and a float tube.

Fishing is great from 1-4pm. During the warmest parts of the day. I fish with Jon boat.

The lakes stop fishing when they get to hard for a fly to sink. Then as soon as ice is safe enough its back on again!

The fish don't seem to be moving around a lot lately, but on the good side, when you catch fish they have been good sized.
