Look like I am going to have to go back and pass that sideways sign, and to think I was thinking about walking all the way back there...

Look at how undercut the road is before you drive over it, may second guess yourself. The borough and dnr say they're working on it.... Call both and light a fire under em!

Was there yesterday, no work done whatsoever. It is passable however I think if we see significant rain the undercut in the hole will erode further and someone will experience a significant emotional event.

Signs were moved to the side and about a half dozen cars back there last night. Heavy rains did cause some deep holes in the road, but you can drive around them. I drove all the way back to Jim lake last night.
Saw a few birds while motoring out. After all set up, didn't see one bird.

Has anybody been hunting Jim Creek area at all this past week, I am assuming the lakes froze last week, but don't know if reopened or not with the warmer days. Interested in if accessed through Mud Lake or up the creek from the Knik. Actually I'm waiting for it to all freeze solid to run my airboat on, not looking for open water, but it takes a lot of gas for me to run over there and not find what I am looking for. Let me know if you have been there this past week pls. Bud

The road is repaired, not sure about the lakes. I don't think they're frozen very solid if at all
