    Default Kenai lake boat launches

Hi all, looking to make it one last trip with the boat before winter. I have a 22ft inboard jet and i'm looking for somewhere to put in on kenai lake to search for bears. I know of the launch at cooper landing next to the bridge, but are there any others? Also, do i need to worry about power restrictionson kenai lake or do they only apply on the kenai river? Thanks

+1 on the Quartz Creek launch.

Problem might be that because Quartz is federal it may be off limits.
See my more bad news post in the freshwater fishing forum.
They have closed the upper Kenai and part of the middle Kenai and all Fed lands because of the shutdown and AST is enforcing the closure.

Why are the AK troopers involved?

Posting from Sunshine Inn. Quartz Creek Campground and Boat Launce are gated. Sorry.

There is a launch spot right next to the Forest Service bld at the railroad tracks in Crown Point. Only prob, like at Primrose is the wind blowing the water up your stern while launching. Try Cooper Lake at the end of Snug Harbor Rd as well.
