    Default Really old PWS blackie

Here is a really old PWS blackie taken on the 18th, I have been in on roughly fifty bear kills in the sound but none ever appeared this old or tattered as this guy. Saw forty plus bears in three days. Broken and healed hind leg both ears were shredded and healed both lips were torn out. The other pair are a couple we passed on but they were had if we wanted them.

    Default nice bear

Man, bears sure are tough. I complain about getting a little salt in a canker sore. Now I have heard that pets look like their owners does that hold true for hunters and their trophy?

We saw a bear limping on his hind leg in Bay of Isles on Knight Island on the evening of the 17th.

Was that where you got this old feller?

Always freaks me out to see the skull... with the missing teeth its just plain creepy! Nice kill, that boar had a long life and you probably did him a favor.
