    Default Russian River in July

I'm going to be at the campground on July 8th and 9th and was wondering what fishing oppurtunaties might be available then and what tackle would I need to take advantage of them. Any advice would be welcome.

Any Salmon/Steelhead sized rod, you must use a fly with no more than 3/8" gap from point of hook to shank, called a russian river fly with a weight of 1/2 to 3/4 oz, use 36-48" of leader between them and drift in no more than 3 ft of water and you will catch fish, if you don't look at what people who are catching fish and monkey see, monkey do.
