    Question HELP! . . QUICK . . peeling a tongue . . .

Have eaten heart and liver before, but this is my first tongue . . have had a caribou tongue simmering on the stove for about an hour now . . seems tender . .

. . is there an easy way to peel it now that it's done? . .

    . . seems to be a slow, tedious process at first attempt . . . ? . . am I doing something wrong . . ?

Might need to cook longer, about an hour per pound. When done remove from heat and quench in an ice bath, that will help loosen the skin and it should peel easier, with just a few spots needing force or a blade.
