    Default a lucky day

A pic from a couple weeks ago. First two bands came from on flock of about 8 birds, of which 5 came down, and the third came from the next flock. All from the same area (Innoko). All adult birds about 4 years or older.

No doubt, been hunting almost 20 years up here and have yet to see a band. Congrats, I was starting to think banded birds didn't exist, as duckslayer said there might be hope yet.

I don't mind the swim over from the Anchorage boat ramp but my dogs complain about the cold and the tides. I should have said road accessible South Central. If I had a personal plane I'd be over there quite a bit more.
