    Default couple bears

Had a couple bears come in but they haven't been back in a day and a half.
Maybe they didn't like the food????
Dog food, horse feed with molasses, some sweets and syrup.

Is that a sow and a cub in that picture? Or two adult bears?

looks like two adults or a sow with a really big cub, kinda like a 30 year old who lives with his parents
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

I'm using the same stuff. Initially I got hit hard when I brought out some donuts, but then I switched to the dog food and horse feed with molasses and syrup, and they don't seem as interested. I think this weekend I am going to bring out some more donuts with some sweets. Good luck.

I like the looks of your setup too, Jason. Hope you guys are successful; I could go for some black bear meat right about now myself.

That looks like a boar and a sow to me.

I had some molasses last year that I bought at a store here in Fairbanks. The bears would not touch it. I had two drums of dog food, one had the molasses and the other had grease mixed in. The bears would finish off the drum with the dog food and grease and still not touch the molasses. I think there was something wrong with it because I've always had good luck with molasses.

    Default just my thoughts

If I see any bear like that he is going down!! Great picture, headed to beluga on friday, hope to be in a tree stand by 9pm. Spending a week, first time over bait. Taking a rifle and a bow, hope to tag out.
