    Default Western Denali Highway

Looking for some info on trails on the western end of the Denali highway.

I know the first 20-35 miles is all native land but say once the Nenana touches the highway I'm golden. I have been on very few trails in this region and looking for trails that will take me up high. Any help is appreciated.

It only takes time and gas to find the trails. See: summer activities.

You are correct, however, about land status. You'll need to get back to the river to be on public land. There's a big BLM sign at a pullout on top of a hill overlooking the river that marks the spot.
Passing up shots on mergansers since 1992.

Pretty late reply but check out the Cantwell map on the AHTNA website, there is also a big block of native land off the highway that Seattle Creek Trails wind back to.
