    Default Daughters first caribou/biggame animal

We wandered into unit 13 on the 30th of August to do some Bou and moose hunting and on the Sept 1 my 13 yr old duaghter shot her first caribou. She was using a her weatherby youth rifle in a 7-08 with 120gr tsx, caribou ranged at 325 yds. we had big bull caribou all around the whole time we were out there us it got worse when we all tagged out LOL... We had several nice ones less than 160 yds from camp and trail we used. DSCF0874.jpg

Side note the ones we saw 160 yds from camp was after we all had tagged out... My daughter got scoped pretty good as well, so between blood mom patching her up she was pretty excited to point she was shaking...
