    Default Fair

We fished for kings Sunday. Trolled 4 rods, 8 hours and caught 3 kings. charter captain told us it had been slow, and he was right. We didn't try halibut, but radio talk was slow to fair.

My friend just caught a 30# salmon... apparently they opened early this year for the first time in the six years I ahve leaved here...

Good luck, I hear they are in on the spit too.

    Default Caught our limit.

We fished sunday and caught our limit in 2.5 hours. Biggest was around 35-40lbs the rest were all 20lbs. Good day.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I am going to Homer for my first time in early July. Want to do one day of halibut fishing and the other??? stream, river, fly out I don't know. The other days will be spent do tourist stuff. I write and own a popular fishing magazine in southern California and was looking for suggestions on what and how in the Homer area. Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks
