Default F/S Silver or gray C-172 on floats at lake Hood ?

I was talking to somebody on the phone today and he mentioned he had seen a C-172 on floats for sale down by Lake Hood.
He said it was silver or metal flake gray and had an over-sized (STC) engine of some sort..

I have not found it on Alaska's list of Craig's list...

Anyone have any ideas on the plane this guy may have ben talking about... ???

it is in the parking area across from grant aviation. i believe you are correct about the up sized engine. i am no longer in anchorage or i would help you out with a phone number. i do know it has been there awhile and over the last year and a half hasnt seemed to move any.

I received your photos... It must be the one I heard about... I will call the number.

I saw the words FRANKLIN PLZ engine..... I have yet to find anyone who will give those engines a good reference...
