Default Hr 3018 important to all gun owners/shooters.

Quick Summary HR 3018 proposed a 20% tax on all firearm purchases, %50 tax on ammunition purchases and bumping up the price of any NFA stamps/ transfers to be proportionate to current inflation..

Text of the bill can be read here.

Contact our representatives now and get this shot down. This affects all gun owners and recreational shooters. PLEASE to NOT turn this into a 2nd amendment thread as per forum rules I am just trying to get this information out there.

unbelievable....this will keep us safe...lets take away any recreational shooting and make it unaffordable...and make legal guns more expensive to own. that'll fix the problem. 50% on ammo!! i already pay near $50 a box this is just pure craziness...its all i can do to keep myself from going into a swearing rant...yes i will also be using the 3 links. thank you

People, post this link on other outdoor sites you may frequent. I've done two of mine. The word has to get out and our representatives need to hear from us. Never had we had an adminstration that had no much animosity towards its people and freedom. Don't let this get any traction!
