Default Brown Bear Hunting - Kodiak or the Peninsula?

Looking at a spring hunt in particular. The guide will make or break it but assuming you have two excellent and experienced guides in both cases. Prices being similar what is your opinion of these two hunts and how do they differ? What are the common things that are overlooked prior to booking?
    Thanks!

from a cousin working kodiak in the spring, can be a bit nasty if a storm blows in. and from all the hunts i've seen on here and tv, you're just about as likely to shoot a big one in either place, given a good guide

Spring Bear in Kodiak can be a gamble with the weather, I guide on the peninsula and we are close to 100% success rate in both spring and fall, we have been guiding the area for almost 40 years. If you would like more information let me know and I can get in touch with you. I have hunted both Kodiak and the Peninsula and prefer the Peninsula in the spring.
