I have a number of emails and calls in the past week about water levels on the Gulkana. In the past 4 days she has almost tripled in size and flow. The river is muddy but will be very runnable for you guy who are looking to do float hunts. I have had a bunch of calls about the West Fork. 2 weeks ago I was steering guys away from the West Fork but it is looking real good now. Contact your flight service and ask to be sure but at this levels you should be just fine. That also goes for you guys who want to run a jet unit up from Sourdough. The West Fork gives lots of jut boat users real problems so be heads up but water levels look spot on for hunting.
