I heard that same thing. I did find 8 ducks only and I'm going to get them on opening day. There aren't enough for anyone else. Sorry.... you guys just stay at home.

Driving by Potter's Marsh this week, it should be a good season. It is full of ducks.

Oh man. That would be a sweet spot. Wish I could hunt that opening day, BUT you know how that goes. Instead I'm forced to jump in an airplane and fly to a swamp where to there are no ducks or geese. Guess I'd better bring some clays so I have something to shoot at. sigh.....

Baron, we all know you are taking 12 people with a barrowed airplane to your honey hole and you have promised them all limits of both ducks and geese and a few cranes thrown in along with some swans. If that is not bad enough, you are calling the trip a dog training class and not hunting. Bud

After all, there are more ALASKA ducks killed on opening day there that what get killed in Alaska the whole season. Better yet, mexico, after all there seems to be NO LIMIT on all the ALASKA waterfowl that winter there! Naw, guess I'll stay here after all, 8 should be enough for almost anyone.

I'll be hunting this here forum for pictures of OPD's (Other People's Ducks)

My season doesn't start until the 5th.

I know Bud, hopefully "dog training" will be good. Hopefully more marks than blinds.
This time of year I get to enjoy the perks of my job.
The kennel is getting empty. They are all going out to go hunting. I'm so proud of my little students.

Baron, you have fun over there. You have not one, but two great jobs both of which can provide you with a lot of benifits besides the pay. (don't let Mary shoot across the road). Bud
