Thread: PWS Parachutists

    Default PWS Parachutists

Thursday afternoon a C130 flys several rectangular patterns a mile or two off the mouth of Pigot Bay and then out pops 2 chutes. He leaves the area but returns about 20 minutes later and drops 2 more. Vessel in background plucked them from the water. Interesting little air show. Guess you never know what you'll see out there. Sorry about the picture quality...not very good.

Maybe they are the ones robbing our shrimp pots. No puller needed. They just dive down and get them sight unseen. Well almost anyway!

I wonder if that's Nancy and Harry, here to implement omamacare, starting in Whittier?

There's no helping Whittier! Unless they dropped in with a few big dozers and dynamite

The only problem Whittier has could be solved by closing the tunnel.

Ouch. Such a drastic move! But sadly it's true

I'd bet on the para-rescue bunch practicing their water work. Hats off to them for being ready and willing.

On a serious note. Yep. I totally agree. I've been there done that then retired. Training and being ready for the real thing is important but often overlooked. Glad to see them doing some cold water rescue training.
