    Default BroadHead Test

So I just did a test with my broadheads. I put 4 jugs of water (1 gallon jugs) about 5 yards away shot them with each of my broadheads and had my GF time them for me. The results surprised me! Here is the results:

    G5 Montec 1:03
    Wac 'em 1:03
    Muzzy Phantom 1:48
    Phat Head Feather Duster 1:15

If you use any of these you should think about doing this test as well.

Add the Flying Arrow Archery "Toxic" into your list and you'll be pleasantly surprised...

So - it took your arra a whole minute to pass through - or it took the jug a whole minute to run before it collapsed ? What would this test show a fella?

Ya - that doesn't tell you much now does it. if ya hit it in the middle, how long does it take to empty it..... Has no relativity on an animal hit. Didja know that an arrow will go through more jugs than a high speed bullet? But the boolit looks cooler doing it.

Why would anyone think it would take over a minute for an arrow to fly through a jug filled with water? What it shows is entrance and exit wounds and what kind of blood trail there might be. It's not an exact science, but lots of pro bow hunters use this method to help them in figuring out what broad head to use.
