    Default Valley silvers

What are your opinions on where to fish in the valley next weekend for silvers? Palmer wasilla area or parks highway. I have a raft and was thinking of floating willow. Any thoughts or suggestions?

A lot of my friends have been fishing the parks and been doing well for all species.

We have done well on Parks hwy streams fort he past few weeks except for last weekend at Sheep, for some reason it slowed way down. I am hoping its just a lul in the run. I heard that a lot of the Knik streams like Cottonwood and Wasilla creek did really well the same weekend though.

Without being smug, take your pick and just go for it. You apparently live in the Valley so take your pick-nobody can put a specific crystal ball together for this weekend but the fact is the silver run is good everywhere in the Mat-Su.

Best word of advice I can give you, early....early.....early. Be ON the water around 6am and you will have the better luck than later in the day.

Nice bright ones from last week. Heard good reports continue to come in this week also. try slow rolling large in-line spinners.
