I'm looking at doing some fly fishing for silvers on 8/14. Was wondering if I would be better off starting at the bridge and working downstream or starting at the mouth and going up? I don't fish this creek much and would like input on fly patterns as well. Thanks.

I am kind of wondering the same thing. As far as flies go, I like flash flies, big leech patterns, and I hear dolly lama patterns work well.

Floated from Deception to the mouth on Friday. Did not start seeing many silvers until closer to the mouth. Hope that helps.

Egg sucking leach always works well for me fishing silvers. I have been murdering em with that fly this year. Its out fished the eggs and vibrax every time out. I started not even bringing any other gear. I only have a few of that particular pattern so if I lose one Im gonna be in trouble.
