Default Pretty sure there is an error in the regulation book

In the new trapping regulation book, i am pretty sure there is an error on bag limits. If you did not notice it i will not point it out because it will give the idea it is ok to go out and trap right now when it is not. The hides of those animals are not prime and it would be a waste of a valuable hide if one was trapped during the summer.

I'm sure it is a reminder to read and UNDERSTAND the trapping regulations before venturing afield.

Perhaps some people trap for something other than the fur??

or...are you referring to the no closed season on those valuable squirrels? lol

Ok i just received word back that there will be an emergency order and some sort of a notice going out about the change in regulation. The dates for river otter have been changed back to November 10th for units 9-11, 13, 14A, 14B, 16 & 17. I believe the regulation books have already been printed with the error but the online version has already been changed. so the purpose of this post is to inform all trappers that otter are not open year round in these units.

Once again, good catch, Josh! ADF&G appreciated the catch and the heads-up.
