Default Old RV water tank Question-Photo

I Just bought a 1977 wolverine 22 footer with this style air tank for pressure. How much air do i put in for a five day trip?
I dont want to over do it.

I keep a small dc powered air-compressor in my RV. I would use one of those and go slow, if you need more it only takes a quick second to add some air. Worth every penny if the wife runs out of water while washing her hair.

The rest of the water piping system is likely a potential problem with bursting and joint failure. Try around 40 to 45 lbs to start and plan to add air depending on use. The older systems could become problematical at 65lbs and up.

Check on a DC water pump. Not too spendy and easy to install.
