    Volunteers needed in Palmer Hay Flats Refuge
    What: Install Geoblock panels to create a new 374’ long ATV trail from the new bridge at Cottonwood Creek to the existing ATV trail
    When: Saturday, August 10; 10am to 6pm (or as long as you can help)
    Where: Cottonwood Creek access site off Hayfield Road
    Items to bring: rubber knee boots and work gloves. If you have them: cordless drill, Phillips bit drivers, extra batteries, charger (we’ll have a generator); saw horses with full 8’ sheet plywood to use as a working surface.

    Sorry Bud, I can't make this one, Aug 10th is opening day of sheep season and I'm hoping I'll have a 40" ram down that day.

    Dang, did this go through or what? I haven't been on the forum in a while but would have loved to help out. Anything else need done out there? Or possibly another project elsewhere?

    It looks like they are making every gravel road open to a prius, rabbit slough is getting a facelift, maud road is probably next. There will be plenty of work for those who want it....most likely paid for by those who soon will not be allowed to use it.

    Alot of work got done Saturday despite the weather. the connecting trail is close to complete. There was a good turn out of volunteers including some folks from Bass Pro. I wasn't able to stay the entire time, but alt had been completed when I left around 1230.
