Default Found someones shrimp pots in passage canal, no bouy.

Found floating pot line wrapped around my bouy line, no bouy attached and line looked to be cut by someones prop, pulled in line and it was still attached to five pots. Email me @ rmr5524@yahoo.com and describe pots and you can come get them.

Try also posting this in the boating threads or maybe a moderator could copy this over to there. Thanks for posting and making the effort to get somebodies gear back to them. Do they look like they are just recently lost ??? or have they been down awhile ??

The pots look to be recent and they had a fair amount of shrimp.

Maybe I should start trying to fish shrimp without a bouy. This will take some more thinking. And I will need another beer to help the brain storming. Thanks for the good samaritan report Ron.

Sooooo what'd you do with the shrimp?
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Nice to hear honest people out there helping others out. Floating line to the surface makes me wonder how many others lost pots that way? I was set there this weekend and glad my pots didn't get wrapped up in the line of 5... cuzz I use that Ace Line Hauler and would have had problems bringing up five. I do two sets, one set with 2 pots and the second set with 3 pots.

No connection to my lost pots... only had two down there. Good to hear about this and hopefully they find their owner!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one skunked on shrimp occasionally! All I hear about us people boasting how many gallons they got. But I did get 29 last weekend. Then another haul up of 600 feet of line by hand and zero shrimp!

I upgraded from a Brutus puller to a Honda that I got from Rob B last winter and had no problem pulling them.
