    Default some fishing pics

    had an amazing couple days fishing this week. with the wife out of town with the kid and a good friend that had a couple days off we managed to sneak out of town and had an amazing fishing expierience.

    lakers were in a lake holding right near a mouth of a creek, where the creek dropped into deeper water we caught a couple dozen.

    as far as tackle - little cleos in either yellow with orange spots or chartruse/silver also orange crocodile spoons with reflective tape on on side. even tried a yellow 5 of diamonds daredevel and that worked too. found it strange that spinners didn't work as well as spoons, action maybe. since there were whitefish in the lake for a fly i used a white/silver saltwater fly about 4-5 inches long on an 8wt rod they are a handful though. for dollies caught some on a little cleos silver/blue some on a (hanging head in shame)...a pixie spoon.

    yep.. that was the first laker i ever caught on a flyrod. had to get a picture of that one. they didn't seem to like flys as much as hardware.
