My granddaughter will be with us this year, and will turn "Sweet 16" on Aug 13. Most of the forum folks I tangle with are on this saltwater fishing forum...weather permitting, how about a beach party that evening?? There is great moorage out in front of our cabin in Port Fidalgo, and the high tides will be moderate, so plenty of beach. Brings the kids etc. and let's have a party...If we don't make too much noise, the bears should be feeding on the pinks in our stream.
Hannah has been living with us for almost a year, I've had her fishing for perch, little bass and bluegills etc. but nothing like we catch in Alaska. She lived in Alabama prior to this year. She is an amazing young lady, gifted artist and writer, and this will be her first Alaska adventure. By the time of her birthday, I think she will have caught some nice silvers, pulled some shrimp pots, watched the bears at our creek feeding each evening, and be enchanted with the Alaska wild in PWS. Come on out and let her meet some Alaska familys and friends...yeah, I know, I will have to let her wash her hair that night
PM me if you want to come and I will give you more specifics...I leave Idaho for Valdez and PWS on Aug 1, so do it before then. We can raft the boats up or party on the beach, whatever suits you. We will get a big cake and you all have to sing except for Pete on Patience, if he comes he has to stand on his head and sing
