I hate to be the one to give you the bad news, but fishing season in ALaska started 2 1/2 months ago, and it usually ends in Aug, but some guys are trying to stretch it out into Sept... Deck hand jobs that don't go to family members, go to someone whose built up a rep as a very good deck hand, gopher, engineer... Or in some cases, to somebody who knows somebody, who knows something... etc., etc., etc.,
But, people walk away from good jobs every day, so whose to say, you might just stumble into something. Good luck in your endeavors.

With all the talk about chicken patches on our site they probably misinterperated and are pole dancers trying to escape the heat in Az!
Probably looking to get on some fish for sure but I'm not sure we got any suckers in this state, not the swimming kind anyway.

Oh wait a minute, that's Nevada with the infamous ranches isn't it?
