    Default Any reports of kings in the Fairbanks area yet?

    Any king action in the Chena, Chatanika, or Salcha rivers?

    I know of one person that caught a small king earlier in the week. As of today, F&G by emergency order, has prohibited the retention of sport caught king salmon in all flowing waters of the Tanana River drainage. Also, the use of bait in all tributaries of the Tanana River drainage is also prohibited.

    Audery b at sportfish at ad&fg says even though there is no low numbers on returns in the salcha if there is closeers down river sport fisherman will suffer not a thing i can do about it ..and she dont eat kings from up here she said
    'no good fish up here" call the govener ..if u dont like it.??? She dont even fish the salcha.. Has no clue how to manange fish in this river..with 10 males to 1 hen..this river is going to end like the chena deadruns of males i have fished this river for kings 30 years we need hens from down river ..!!!!!!!!!!!
